[PHP1.10] Why do I get Zend Optimizer is not installed error message when running a script?

If you receive the error message below when trying to run a script on our servers please make sure your php.ini or php4.ini file is not located in the same directory as the script you are running as this can disrupt zend optimizer and lead to the this error. If you place the php4.ini file in the root directory of your web space, above public_html, this will then allow the script to pick up the zend module and function correctly.

"The component "Zend Optimizer" is not installed on the Linux hosting platform and therefore cannot service encoded files. Please download and install the Zend Optimizer Runtime (available without charge from http://www.zend.com) on your hosting package if you wish to use this."
