You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook using the settings in this tutorial. Before You Start: You need the names of your incoming and outgoing servers to set up email with a client and by default these are: pop.secureserver.net and smtpout.secureserver.net respectively. Continue with the procedures outlined below to set up your email client. NOTE: To use IMAP email, you must have an email plan that supports IMAP but our packages at the moment are only for POP 1. Start Microsoft Outlook 2007. When the Startup Wizard displays, click Next. 2. NOTE: If the Startup Wizard doesn't automatically display, from the Tools menu, select Account Settings, and then click New. In the Add New E-mail Account dialog box, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, then click Next. 3. On the Account Configuration page, select Yes to indicate you want to configure an email account, and then click Next. 4. On the Auto Account Setup page, enter the following: Your Name-The name to display on your email.E-mail Address-Your email address.Password-Your email account password.Retype Password-Verify your password. 5. At the bottom of the page, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and then click Next.6. On the Choose E-mail Service page, select Internet E-mail, and then click Next. 7. On the Internet E-mail Settings page, enter your email account information as follows:Your Name-Your first and last name.E-mail Address- Your email address.Account Type (Choose either below)IMAP - IMAPPOP - POP3 Incoming mail server-The information you noted from Web-Based Email. ie pop.secureserver.netOutgoing mail server (SMTP)-The information you noted from Web-Based Email ie smtpout.secureserver.netUser Name-Your full email address.Password-Your email account password. 8. Select Remember Password, and then click More Settings.9. In the Internet E-mail Settings window, click the Outgoing Server tab.
