[SQL1.06] Why am I getting a host blocked with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' error?

Errors such as:-

Host 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'

-: can be resolved by changing the database host setting inside the affected script to 'localhost' rather than a host name or IP address.

You may need to contact support in order for them to perform the flush-hosts command for you once.
