[EML1.08] How do I configure email using Outlook Express for the email template/ stationery based webmail?

You can always use our email template/ stationery Web-Based Email to send and receive email messages.

NOTE: This is different from the default one that we use for all our standard emails as seen here. Please use the standard email outlook settings here unless if you know that you purchased an upgrade to use our UNLIMTED Storage space email that comes with the email templates/ stationery.In case you are not sure on which email package you are on,

standard email users aceess webmail through this interface

while premium email users access webmail through this interface

This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook 2007. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook using the settings in this tutorial.

Before You Start:

You need the names of your incoming and outgoing servers to set up email with a client and by default these are: pop.secureserver.net and smtpout.secureserver.net respectively.

Continue with the procedures outlined below to set up your email client.

NOTE: To use IMAP email, you must have an email plan that supports IMAP but our packages at the moment are only for POP

1. Start Microsoft Outlook 2007. When the Startup Wizard displays, click Next.

2. NOTE: If the Startup Wizard doesn't automatically display, from the Tools menu, select Account Settings, and then click New. In the Add New E-mail Account dialog box, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, then click Next.

3. On the Account Configuration page, select Yes to indicate you want to configure an email account, and then click Next.

4. On the Auto Account Setup page, enter the following:

Your Name-The name to display on your email.
E-mail Address-Your email address.
Password-Your email account password.
Retype Password-Verify your password.








5. At the bottom of the page, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and then click Next.

6. On the Choose E-mail Service page, select Internet E-mail, and then click Next.










7. On the Internet E-mail Settings page, enter your email account information as follows:



Your Name-Your first and last name.
E-mail Address- Your email address.
Account Type (Choose either below)
IMAP - IMAP
POP - POP3
Incoming mail server-The information you noted from Web-Based Email. ie pop.secureserver.net
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)-The information you noted from Web-Based Email ie smtpout.secureserver.net
User Name-Your full email address.
Password-Your email account password.




8. Select Remember Password, and then click More Settings.
9. In the Internet E-mail Settings window, click the Outgoing Server tab. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, and then select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.


10. Click the Advanced tab.
Incoming Server Settings
Port
IMAP without SSL - 143
IMAP with SSL - 993
POP without SSL - 110 (we use this one)
For POP with SSL - 995







(Optional) This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
Select to enable.

Outgoing Server Settings
Port
Without SSL - One of the following: 25 (use this one), 80, 3535
With SSL - 465


(Optional) This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
Select to enable.Click OK.


11. Click Test Account Settings. Outlook will send itself a message to test yourincoming and outgoing capabilities. Once this is complete and successful, click Next.



12. Click Finish.
